Help me decide which tire

EDIT: updated list to add 1 more tire
first off: truck is stock, will turn up the bars to make it level.
3.0 auto, 4.10 gears.
heres the list
cooper discoverer st
st-c
stt
mastercraft versionf of the cooper is the CT, CT-C,
MT..looks like the old radial STT. father in law has them on his bucket van
maxxis buckshot...leaning towards them
swamper trxus... can get them for 104 each from interco
new find.. kumho venture MTs
dunlop mud rovers. sams club 116 each
would be a 265-75-16 on the stock tear drop rim

i would go offroading every now and again on trailrides, but would be 90% road. I drive 52 miles roundtrip to/from work.

i do like the cooper st's looks aggressive enough for me
stt just cuz they are mud tires
swampers are nice design

If the truck is a daily driver, I'd go with the ones that give you the most traction on the road along with good performance offroad. I believe that the STTs would be decent for that.

we dont have to worry about snow down here, if its going to do anything it will just ice. and on ice, everything sucks on ice.

That's not really a good reason to NOT get a tire.
For a 90% street driven you cannot beat the BFG ATs.

a311fan: is it due to your speedo is off that you "lost" mpg? or did it really upset your truck that much?
im getting 19 barely, but then agian that is what epa says it is suspose to get.

i looked at the procomps but i dont know if i care for them as far as looks.
and for the bfg's trying to keep below 160 a tire. dont think the wife would like me to spend 800 on just tires, that is rent, truck note AND insurance.

510 for buckshots shipped. but with mudders your mpg is likely to go down. if you want to keep mpg id got with a tire that the tread isnt as spread out.
