New Tires!

Finally got a chance to put 33s on the Ranger. Tires are Trxus STS Radial 33x12.50x15s. IMO it looks 100x better and no rubbing! Now just hoping they last a little while, i've heard mixed results..

i hope they are radial's......bias ply's are horrible; they should have never been made that way....

they dont wear bad Zach, the only problem with them is, they are best in sand.....they are not all that great in mud with the tight tread pattern...

I'm def not a fan of those tires. They look cool, but that's about it.

Other than that it looks BA.

Oh an the not working in the mud is fine with me, i knew that before i got em. The Ranger hasnt been in the mud for over a year, I got tired of stuff always breaking(shot piston ring, alt, starter, bearings....) with my tight budget and not bein able to do anything i wanted to the truck. So ive been stickin to trails and with nothing breaking ive had the money to start adding stuff

i think your truck would look good with the black projectors....just paint the bumper pad, lower portion on the grill black and it will be nice.....

the '07 mirrors would look good too on there with the chrome inserts....

Where do you reccomend getting them? Dealer? I plan on doing the headlights, corners, and mirrors in about 2 months. First i need, well want, to find a new rear out of a 02+ ranger 4x4. I want the 8.8 with 4.11s to recompensate for the 33s

make sure you also do the front gears too.....if not you will run into some serious problems!

i got my mirrors from the dealership.....i am sure you can find them on eBay, but the used ones i have seen on there are as much as the dealer wants for new ones....

Are the front gears necessary at FIRST if you dont use 4wd until i get time to put new gears in the front?

i would take out the front driveshaft so you don't "accidently" put it in 4wd........

if you put it in 4wd with different gears up front, it could and very well will cause severe damage to the t-case/diff....

How are those tires supposed to be in the snow? I imagine if they're good in sand they should be good in snow.
