Wheels on 2007 Sport 4x4

I currently have a set of 15" American Racing wheels on my 2004 Ranger (3.75 backspace)
I'm thinking of trading in for a new 2007 Ranger sport 4x4 which comes stock with 16" wheels.
My question is, will my 15" wheels fit on the new truck? It looks like there is room for a 15" wheel to clear the front caliper, but I wanted to verify to be sure.

Thanks for the quick reply... I didn't think anything had changed, but wanted to be sure.
The '07 has a tire pressure monitor? I didn't know about that.

I wish I got that, does it just change color? Or is there something inside the cab that tells you.

the TPS is build it, its on the rim, they have a strap that goes around the rim to hold it on. then on ur dash u have a light, so when a tire is flat or low on pressure it lights up!

So, if the truck has the TPS and I change the wheels, will the light on the dash be constantly lit up or will it just not work at all?
I really don't want to have a light on the dash all the time, that would be annoying!

No, with some of the new wheels you should be able to transfer the TPMS valve stems over from the OEM's.

If they dont transfer over, everytime you start your truck you'll get a warning on the dash & have to clear it.

The 04 is fine, I've had the aftermarket wheels on it for 2 years now... I'm picking up a new 07 next week and I'm hoping to use my nice wheels on the new truck.
If it's just a light on the dash, I guess I can live with that as long as there isn't a warning beep that goes along with it! The idea is that I'm going to use the stock wheels for winter and run my nice aftermarket ones in summer.

the only way to swap them over is to demount your stock tires/wheels and take off the TPS thats strapped around the rim, the strap just unloosens and comes right off. u cant just swap the valve stems cause its an actual unit.

I thought the unit was in the valve stem inside the wheel. Its an actual strap? Interesting...
