will a 10" wide rim be ok on the rear???

Before I buy my new rims and tires, I want to make sure they fit ok.

My only question is if a 10" wide tire will fit on the rear of my rwd truck? backspacing is 4" and offset is 36mm

I just want wider tires in the rear than in the front for a sporty look!

I have them with 33s and a BL. They fit fine till I flex the rear end too much then they dig into the flares and bend the bed a lil. And the bed likes to cut them up some. They will stick out tho. I think 15x8s will look better for the sporty look.

i dont mind them stickin out... im going for the fat tires in the rear look... and im only puttin 295/50/15's on them so i dont think with any flex they will rub... the total diameter is 26.1 inches

Ive got 295/50/15s on the back and 255/50/15s on the front, i love the back tires but the front are a little to wide, im gonna go a little thinner in the front. i love the look it gave my truck. when those suckers are warm they take grab like hell!

yea, the 255's are to wide, the roads around here are pretty rutted so it kinda pulls you around everywhere

That seems to be a weird tire size to me. I am running Toyo Proxes S/T's (265/60/18) on my truck and I have between 9 & 10 inches of rubber on the ground with an 8 inch wheel. I have no problem with a wide tire fitting as long as the offset is close to zero.
