may i ask a question? do you already have these tires? if not what look are you going for offroad or street? if offroad just get a 30x9.5x15 it will fit better

and yes a 235x70x15 will fit alot better still smaller then crap but yes it will fit

No right now I have stock tires that were on my truck when it was bought, and im getting new ones for my birthday and im getting rims also, and i have a 2wd truck but dont want to lower it i want it to be useful and want it to be a truck, so being 2wd i am getting AT tires so i have a little mor tread for the snow and what not, and the only 15x7 rims i can find that have my bolt pattern are black rockcrawler series 97 and i dont want them so i saw 15x8's.. im not going to be going off roading but just want it to look better then stock rims

a 235x70r15 is still small .... it is considered a 28x9.3R15 so 1.3 inches wider than the rim .... id do the 235 over the 225 .... but if you could do a 245/70r15 that would be better ... if the tire is as wide as the wheel you might have problems with poping a bead ... and yes it can happen on the road not just four wheeling. but like said above a 30x9.5r15 and a 15x8 is much better

yes you are looking for offroad style good go with a 30x9.5x15 BFG A/T at that size there VERY cheap for the tire and they last for a good 65000 miles if not more you will be very pleased with them

Mike you will lose like 1-2 mpg on gas these arnt like 33's or anything its not a HUGE or heavy tire and i see how your dad is being defensive on this but listen look at that GREEN truck in the picture up there^^^ thats what you truck WILL look like with the rims and tires those are what i am trying to tell you and dont worry it WILL NOT stick out past your fender over the legal limit your dad has nothing to worry about

my grandpa has the 30x9.5x15 on his 4cly ranger and it ddint slow it down at all! nor did it loose any mpg. and they dont stick out either. if your worried about the law look at my truck the tires stick out a good 2-3 inches and no cop has ever stopped me.
