Wrangler Authority tires?

Hey guys, in the next month I'm going to be picking up a new set of tires for my 4runner.

On my Ranger I had BFG A/Ts and they were good tires, however I'm just looking for something different..

While I was at wal-mart I ran across these...they were pretty mean looking and I liked the tread, however I can't find much about them since they seem to be pretty exclusive to Wal-Mart.

Walmart.com: Tires

Anyone run these? Or heard anything good or bad about them?

There are rumors that those tires are "substandard" because they are exclusive to Walmart. Although I doubt it since all tires have to pass certain standards. I think they are nice looking myself. If I remember correctly they are also pretty cheap. I say go for it.

I have them and they do howl a little bit. Nothing to bad but I was hoping since they were listed as an A/T and sold at Walmart they'd probably be whisper quiet.

got em two months ago

im stationed in va and drive home to alabama every month or so its a 700 mile trip. i put 5000 miles on the tires and still no sign of wear yet. some of the pics on this forum show a guys tires after 1000 miles that look like ***. well thats because he drives like a maniac obviously. the tires handle well in rain and mud beleive it or not. the only negative i have about the tires is i would not recomend sudden movement of the steering wheel while on the interstate. they tend to wanna slow dance if you change lanes going over 60 miles an hour. just something else to get use to. let me know if you need to know more. my truck is a 01 edge 4x4.86000 miles
