2009 Ford Ranger 3" body lift questions.
hi i have a 2009 ford ranger 4x4 sport and was looking at getting a 3 inch body lift cause i don't do a lot of off roading and didn't want to spend the money on a suspension lift probably a stupid question but it wont hert any thing buy putting a bl in like the wiring or any thing and with the shifter extension does that just bolt up to the stock shifter

It's packed full of very useful info. The kit you get covers all bases in regards to wiring, brake lines, etc. In the link above, take a look at the downloadable instructions. I went through those probably a dozen times learning before I even turned one wrench. The instructions also cover the shift extention and yes it does literally go between the trans and the stock shift arm.
Note: For your '09, you're going to have to order 2 extra blocks and bolts for your bed. '09+ shortbeds have 10 bed bolts where earlier models only had 6. Kits come with 8 blocks and bolts to cover the longbed models, so you'll be 2 bolts/blocks short. You can buy blocks straight from Performance Accessories for about $3 each and bolts about the same price. Don't forget those thick bed washers too. I do not know if that sticky thread has this info in it yet or not, but I'll find out and try to have it updated.
