138,553 on my 96 Ranger 2.3L. About to need the 4th transmission in it...but think i'm going to pull the 2.3L with the auto tranny and put in a 5.0L with auto tranny. I'v had nothing but problems out of my 2.3L. My truck has no power once so ever...tranny is screwed...but thats thanks to the guy that had it before me..took it muddin every weekend or everyday.....but couldnt beat it for the price...expecially when my other ranger went out...had 204K on 94 Ranger with 4.0 when original A4LD Auto tranny went out.

200,000
200 K mi. on my 95 5 Sp. supercab. Engine factory stock. (bought w/ 89K mi.)
Original trans, clutch and components,U joints, starter, fuel pump, computer, exhaust(minus muffler) original rear end oil. Changed spark plugs/wires, thermostat and rad. flush @ 150K (scummy antifreeze)
Changed cam belt, serp. drive belt, and trans. fluid @ 175 K mi. for P-M
Changed orig. motorcraft battery in winter 06 (wasn't dead) prevent. maint.
No leaks, no smoke, no oil consumption, decent MPG-26 average (22+ winter) still runs good. My dads 94 2.3 5Sp. std. cab long bed hads 255 K miles.

210,000 on my '95 automatic 2.3L. I bought it at 180,000 to keep the mileage low on my 2000 Chevy Metro. Not soon after I bought the truck my car was totaled when a young girl in a '95 Isuzu Rodeo smashed into my rear at 65mpg. She told the cop that she was trying to answer her cell phone and that's when she took her eyes off the road. Funny thing is that it did absolutely zero damage to her Isuzu. Anyway, the Ranger has been my lone vehicle since and it's been great to say the least.
So far I've only replaced the water pump, EGR valve and heater control valve. So right now I have less than $150.00 in the thing and it still runs like a champ. I've never touched the transmission fluid and never intend to as everyone under the sun has told me to never change the tranny fluid on a high mileage vehicle if I don't know if it was changed on a regular basis. It shifts as smooth as ever so that's good enough for me. With that said, my thermostat has been acting a little funky lately so I'll probably patch that up soon. Great little truck!

300,000 something miles original motor only 2 timing belts a couple starters a tranny (made it well over 200k without ever having the oil changed or checked it was bone dry when taken off so user error lol)... other than that it's pretty much all stock and original and a 1 owner truck.. my dad got it new in 94 ... never changed a clutch that I'm aware of... it's in the shop now but thanks to some info on here looks to be a timing issue.. other than that it was doing great... original rear brakes O.o .... scary
