Serpentine belt tensioner removal

Hello guys just wondering if anyone has removed their serpentine tenioner, what size torx socket and if there is factory loctite on the bolt that needs heat to melt Thanks for any advice

You can rent the tool at Advance Auto. There's no locktite on it from what I can remember when I replaced my alternator.

What year engine? The 2.3lima i worked on had a hex-head bolt i though and it was lock'tighted on there....i can check at home on my service manual...

Hey The truck is a 94 and this bolt wont budge from what I can feel with my finger its a torx,could be wrong Thanks very much for the help
