throttle body spacer

Has anyone put the throttle body spacer on their v6 (around a year 2000)?

I want to kno if its worth it or not

It will lighten your wallet but not enough to help your acceleration. Worthless.

They are good for down draft intakes with short plenums/manifolds underneath. For a long plenum side draft intake like ours, they have no effect.

got one for my 98, didn't do much but i felt a small gain right off idle, was looking for bolt ons that didn't cost much so i gave it a try, i ordered it from summit or jegs i forget which

mine was $80-90, i forget exactly, had i known how small of a difference it made i would not have bought one

I have been reading rwenzig's comments for quite some time now. For him to put something down so ruthlessly is almost a shock. But it should be an indication that throttle body spacers are worthless.
