3.0 CMP step on plug or no

i need to replace my CMP and i need to know if its a step on plug or not whats the difference my truck is a 2000 3.0 5spd

I had the same question awhile back. I was told that the unit with-out the step will work in either application. The difference between them is in the inside of the shaft there is a step in on the plug that seals the inner end.
