Coil Pack/IAT Sensor Questions

Coil Pack/IAT Sensor Questions
I'm getting ready to do a composite upper intake manifold swap next weekend. The coil bracket on my 99' won't work with the newer hardware. I do have a passenger side valve cover off an 02' Ranger to mount the coil pack to if necessary. However the 02'-up coil pack is a 3 screw, my 99' has 4.
Will the 02-up coil pack plug directly into my factory harness without any issues? If I relocate the coil pack I'll have to replace the spark plug wires as well.
The newer intake tube doesn't have a bung for the IAT sensor as well. I'm thinking about relocating it to the airbox, on the radiator side of the MAF. Will this cause any issues? I don't have any pinging issues currently on 87 octane. I eliminated the EGR in anticipation of these changes and still don't have any pinging issues.
Thanks for the information,
Jeremiah
