Not sure where else to put this... vibration between 55-60

Ok, so i wasn't sure where else to put this... but im working on trying to get everything working the way it should on my truck, as im putting it up for sale. Im tired of only have a 2 seater, so im going back to an explorer sport, i miss my old one. Anyway... my 98 ranger has 197k miles on her... here lately she's starting vibrating my butt between the speed of 55 and 60, and tends to actually stop when i let off the gas and coast. You guys have any ideas what it could be... i was thinking a possible out of balance tire, but the fact it only does it at those speeds and stops once i let off the gas has me second guessing myself. Any ideas would be awesome.... thanks everyone!

look into the bearing and hub. also make sure nothings stuck in place if you are 4wd and have stock vacuum hubs

this is what you're looking just a visual ignore the douche

and probably these if they still make them

http://www.therangerstation.com/tech...M_hub_swap.htm

when I was swapping mine out for this junk I realized how cheesy the rangers front axle stubs are held in with stupid PLASTIC (20 bucks from ford per) c clips. so look for those from somewhere else if you can.

on the explorers they have a huge nut holding it in that seems way stronger, but you cant run manual hubs with the expo front end as far as I know.

and you probably should have put it in the suspension or general forum

check the drive shaft U joint bearings. On my ranger the whole truck would vibrate around that speed. easy to replace.
