Engine shaking and bucking

Ok so after being at the desert for awhile my truck is running really ruff. Im not sure why either. I think it could be my misfire getting worse but it just seems to convenient for it to happen while out there. The truck has a really mean shake at anything below 2500 rpm's and it has little to no power but when i gas it and get past 2500 it is fine and runs normal but anytime it dips below 2500 it bucks or shakes. Really wierd. btw its a 92 ranger 3.0 2wd manual if that helps. I need to figure this out before i start commuting again.

My truck was doing the same thing, and once I changed out the MAF sensor, it pretty much stopped. I also had to clean my TPS on the throttle body.

They sell MAF sensor cleaner at Auto Zone, Advance, and probably even Wal-Mart. Really any store that sells any auto parts should have it. Just spray a few shots on the MAF sensor and you're done. Electronic parts cleaner works well too. Whatever you use must be safe for electrical parts and leave no residue.

I would check your plugs and wires as well, mine did the same thing when I had plug wires reversed.

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me. You may have just ruptured a small line.
