code help

Probably a bad plug, Plug wire, and or injectors. How many miles do you have on ur Ranger? It may be due for a tune up. Ur truck is 8 years old and they're projected to last for 5 to 7 years. New plugs and Plugwires and Injectors would fix ur problem. Don't use Racing wires or splitfire plugs they can and usually do damage your pistons and cylinder heads.

Hey thnaks for the reply,
I have 107,000 did plugs and wires about 4000 miles ago. regular napa auto parts 8mm plugs and regular platinum plugs. I did find a slight blemish in a plug wire, so I will replace them again soon. (when I can afford it!) Do you know how to check the injectors? How much are replacements? Yesterday I sprayed break clean all over the engine while it was running to see if there was a vacuum leak and there was no variation to my idle. When I was doing this I checked my wires and I think I had #6 and #4 switched around, so I fixed that issue. Seems to have mnore power now, but still has a rough idle! I disconnected my battery to clear the code, an so far the light has not come on, only driven it about 10 miles though. Any thoughts on the rough idle?
