bought this truck off a old vet that had let it sit in a garage for 2 years and never touched it so i finialy got out the bad gas but it was still runnin like crap then i did sea foam and a new fule filter and didnthelp then replased the plugs with the bosh platums the dude gave me with the truck then gaped it at .052 ran like crap missed fired ever 3 secs on the interstate so i looked at the old ones and they were all at .045 so i gaped it back to that and it ran better but still some missfires but ever since i got it if its not in gear it will idel up and down from 400 to 1100 (already got a new iac) didnt help and when im slpwing dorn the truck will jerk a little because the rpms are goin from 1000 to 500 and back prety fast and now to day i re gaped them to .050 and its rouch to get going and half the power it had so took it to get read and it said emissions purge valve fault thenrandom missfire detected and bank 1&2 lean . . . . . . . .. . . . . .any ideas? im out of them.. one more thing when its first started it starts quick and idels smooth till it gets warm then later in the day and what not it will sometimes crank 15 times to start . . . . . . . .. . . . : irked::i rked:

Dump the Bosch plugs and get Autolite or Motorcraft double platinums.Gap to .046.
Change the plug wires.
