Spintech Exhaust

I know most people run flows or magnaflows on here. I myself am a magnaflow guy. But I haven't heard many people if at all that use a spintech muffler. I heard one a few days ago on a mustang and it was sick!

Anybody have any experience with spintech mufflers? How are they in comparison to magnaflow or flowmaster?

I emailed spintech about what muffler type would be good to use on a 03 with a 4.0L and this is what they said:
either the pro street 6000 or the sportsman street 3000. keep the stock piping. the 6000 is the louder of the 2.

Awesome mufflers and they sound MUCH better than Flowmaster. Different internal designs prevent the slapping sound Flowmasters tend to give off.

I'm getting this one in the Spring:
Mufflers - Street Mufflers - SPORT TRUCKS /SUV 5000 - 5334..2-1/2" offset inlet 2-1/2" offset outlet opposite - SpinTech Performance Mufflers

I don't want loud, so I'm concentrating on maintain original shape and size, but just more free flowing.

Spintech mufflers are slightly heavier, but their welds are definitely much thicker and stronger than Flowmaster. I've had both on past vehicles and Spintech wins.

Since this thread was started, I have went with a Flowmaster Super 44 and duals out the back under the bumper at an angle, and for once I am pleased. Well I was until this thread was re-opened, and now you have me thinking again if I want to change my muffler lol. I have only had 6-7 exhaust set ups on my rig....there must be something wrong with me.

I have yet to change from the factory exhaust, and the only reason I was looking is I'm deployed again was going to buy a MBRP set up till my wife told me she bought a house witch is a little more important right now.

I gotcha. I have heard the MBRP is an excellent kit as well. But if you want to keep the stock piping some fab work will have to be done I think. The stock muffler is pretty long, at least it was on my 01. So after the stocker is cut out, a new piece of piping will have to be added somewhere either in front of or behind the new muffler whichever one you decide to choose.

Just because I like to modify, a lot lol, any muffler besides the stock one is good except for the cherrybomb IMO. I have never been a fan of those at all.
