K&n

Alright guys and gals heres the deal. I have the chance to buy a K&N FIPK for $125 brand new. Its going on a 4.0L SOHC. Should I buy it.

Are they worth the money. How many HP will I see and will it improve my MPG?

Thanks

Do it you won't be dissapointed. Especially for that price the stock K&N air filter is about $50.

Before you buy, verify that is is for the correct year range. The 4.0L SOHC used one type of FIPK for 2001~2003 but K&N had to do a new design to fit the 2004-on. They are not interchangeable.

Should be 63 series for the 2004 model and up, FIPK for 2001-2003.

as long as it's the correct part, I'd buy it. Mine made a big differance over the volant intake that I had before.

Go for it. Thats way cheap. I just bought one about a month ago for mine. It's worth the money and you can't beat the price.
