These pissing contests are hilarious. For what it's worth, I don't believe most of you.

If you have a different tire size than stock and haven't fixed the speedo, your speed will be wrong unless you use a GPS or a calibrated OBD2 reader to verify.

And as the old saying goes, pics or it never happened

When i had my XCAL 3 I did 115 for a good while but i don't recommend you hold that speed and RPM's for that long....Unless you have some deep pockets. OD light started flashing then this

I dont know if this link will work, and its pretty crappy quality. Taken about 3 years ago when my truck was 100% stock(06 STX), down a road called "Patterson Rd" in Tampa. Haha. If you google it, you will find all kinds of videos.

Doing 70mph+ through turns on Patterson Rd in my 06 Ford Ranger STX!

I need to get back out there with all the suspension work and new wheels/tires!

When I first bought my tuner, I reached 110 for about 2 seconds before I backed it back down to 80mph. My patrol car tops out at 131mph and that happens at least once per shift that I don't even feel the need for speed while i'm off.

Am I late to the party? I had an older '03 that I got rid of to break 110. It was coming down from a mountain pass between Idaho and Montana. I ran it in neutral the whole trip down... I can easily say that even after all the stupid things I've done in my life that this was one of the most terrifying. To say that the Ranger is not meant to be driven at high speeds is something of an understatement, as I was legitimately worried that I was going to die.

Speed limits are 70 or 75 around here and 80 sometimes. Truck does 93MPH and i've never felt it get unstable. Except when i drove around with a blown rear shock. I want so bad to get rid of the gov. . With speed limits of 70 you get to 93 quick trying to pass on a two lane road.

One of the first things I did was have the speed limiter removed! I could not stand being on the interstate cruising with traffic and if I needed to speed up for any reason, I would get next to the person and then hit the limiter.

I was lucky enough to have some friends at a performance shop and their tuner just hooked into my OBII port and opened his software and disabled it. Now I can go as fast as the truck will let me go, Problem solved!

Rev limiter while you're driving? I've hit almost 6K when passing people, why do you need to go higher?
