those or the plate amps parts express sells work fine.

right now i have two old pioneer 12s wired into my floor speakers (originally came with 12" woofers) running off my RCA reciver and its been working fine for well over 4 yrs. only draw back is, if i turn it up past 40 (volume goes 90-20, 90 being the quietest) it'll make the reciver go into protection mode and turn off momentarly.

it will definatly pound and make the floor shake...it can also be heard outside slightly (stereo is pretty far from the winders).

eventually i wanna make a box and use a plate amp for my infinity perfect...

They have ac to dc converters that can supply at least 20 amps. My friend had one for his subs in the house. I think he got that converter off of ebay. Any ways that 20 amps was more than enough to make the house fall apart.

So i could by a power supply rated for at least 12 vdc and run a head unit and 2-4 speakers (no subs). I would need another power supply for the subs.

Or would i have to find out how many amps it draws?
