What exactly is different between the Mach sound system and the regular sound system in my '03 FX4? I just got the truck and plan to swap in a better/aftermarket head unit soon but just wondering what this option is. Thanks!

 

Mach is a Mustang sound system.

it basically is a more powerful head unit,better speakers and IIRC an amp too

 

Yeah, keep forgetting I'm dealing with 7-8 year old technology here...the H/U in the Ranger says "Mach" but is nothing to get excited about...haha. I'm not too worried about it for now anyway, at least I have tunes. Gotta find something soon to plug the phone into though. I guess I'm used to my work car (An '09 HHR) which suprisingly is pretty good and has USB and AUX plug ins and our Lincoln MKX THX/NAV system which absolutely rocks.
