Best route to run antenna wire for Sirius/XM?

I have a new Pioneer CD/MP3 Unit, and a Pioneer/Sirius under dash receiver that is made for the stereo.

Whats the best way to hide and run the Antenna wire on the Ranger?

Right now, just have it go under the passenger side floor mat, and tucked into the door molding up to the roof, and then positioned about 5" above the top of the passenger side door.

I have mine routed behind the passenger side door weatherstripping, out to the fender and then behind the window moulding up to the center of the roof in the front.

I have a smaller antenna now but its in the same spot.

The way I did it on mine and Beards truck you do not have to cut anything, just route the wire.

I ran mine through the third brake light. There was no cutting.

Mine has been running through the 3rd brake light for over a year with no trimming and I have seen zero water leakage. Once inside the truck the wire runs down to the tuner underneath the passenger seat.

Mine is thru the TBL as well. Looks and works great. As mentioned, be sure to seal it up well with silicone.

The ones I've done through the TBL don't leak, even without silicone.

I installed my XM Radio antenna between the front windshield wipers on the cowl. The wire is run along the weatherstripping of the hood and enters the cab in the gromment of the speedometer cable to the center console. Works great with no drop outs.

I can post pictures if someone can tell me how.

Same here but no sealant -- I made the notch at about the 4 o'clock position on the lower right side (on the "curve" of the corner), so water can't run down into the slot. The slot I made is JUST big enough for the wire also.

I ran the wire along the rear inside roof trim, along the side trim over the drivers door, down the driver's a-pillar, and under the dash and over to my RoadyXT which is mounted just below the gauges to the left of my steering wheel -- an otherwise empty area.

I led mine out the drivers side in case of trees if your going down covered road.

Yeah, that's a good idea. I've had mine "scraped" off when offroading in tight tree areas in Wharton.

Mine is the same as is on that red truck pic above but I put it within an inch of the third brake light (farther back on the roof) so I don't have to look at so much of the black wire and holder.
