In the (hopefully) near future I'm going to be installing a set of 98-99 tri-color taillights on my truck, and to get them to operate properly I'm going to have to run a few extra wires to the rear of the truck from the harness under the dash. Has anyone routed wire out to the taillights before? If so, what route did you go? I haven't crawled under to look yet, but where is the factory harness routed? i.e. is it somewhere I can fish a few new wires through and keep everything neat and "factory" looking?

The wires run along the inside of the frame on the left side. The tubing is taped together so you will have to recover the wires or run them on the outside.

How, inside the tubing and then re-tape it?

nope... along the inside of the frame, and i used the existing clips to hold my wire on, then taped it around other existing wires...

left side of the truck, inside of the frame rail...
