Anyone running bass while having an underdrive pulley

I had an underdrive pulley installed on my truck a few weeks back and was told that running an underdrive pulley will cause the alternator output to drop not allowing me to run a subwoofer without problems... or something like that, can't remember the reason verbatim. Anyway I was wondering if anyone with an underdrive pulley on their truck also has a system and what your setup looks like, and if you have had any electrical complications.

You can just get the alternator pulley that speeds just the alternator back up to normal speed.
