Need help with my stereo

my stereo wont work unless the truck is in park or neutral. any ideas

Not much to go on here. Did you just put an aftermarket unit in???? Is it your stock unit??? Did it just happen out of the blue??

If it's an aftermarket one then go back and check your parking brake cable ground.

you may have grounded it at the nuetral safety switch.
