Icon5 10" SUBS QUESTION!!

I have a regular cab ford ranger and 2 bazooka 10" subs but I was told I should go with shallow subs but I dont wanna buy them if my subs will work.

the bazookas are nice but they will be tight to fit behind your seat now the shallow mounts sub will work once you have a nice size box build for them

yea no way in hell your going to get 1 BT let alone two back there. ive got one in my ext cab and it takes up a ton of space

Okay thanks I guess I'll have to start shopping for some shallow subs..I've never looked into it but I'd probably just look into a set of pioneer subs like youre spc_austen pioneer is a common company and finding the subs should be easy.

i have two 6'' bazooka and they are very nice and solid but i have an ext cab and they come with build in amps so less wire ,

Yeah its a pretty nice setup Im probably gonna build my own box though so it'll be setup a little different then that I'll post pics of the box construction when I get myself some shallow subs.

10 '' is too big man you will have to buy the subs shallow mounts , sorry that the only way

I know I plan on some pioneer shallow mounts like spc's I just gotta measure everything so I can figure out if the setup I have in mind will work

the shop i took it to built the box for my truck i wish they woulda made it one inch less in depth so my seats would recline back more. but other than that i love it i paid 625 for everything/install they have only been in since last tuesday. i used to have a bazooka tube in 76 chevy pickup and it didnt sound very good but i like booming bass loud enough to flex the windows and roof but thats just me. :)

damn spc looks like ur really cramping those pioneers
but if it sounds good w/e
nice set up
i got 1 10" now and hoping to put 2 12s in somehow

no it fits in perfectly and it doesnt hit either seat

oh im thinking about losing a sub and making a fiberglass box so my seat can recline back more i didnt think it was bad until i went on a road trip last weekend and sitting straight up for 12 hours wasnt the funnest time .

My uncle had a Mazda King Cab that had an audio set up that could make the neighbors down the street wet the bed! lmfao!
