New system ideas

Now that i've got a good amp and sub, im going to make another/bigger box. I want to use the entire space behind the seat.......this means I will have to move the rear speakers. I also thought about cutting some of the plastic off that holds the speakers in and removing the middle carpet piece on the back wall. In this pic, the yellow line shows where I would cut at (right on the outside of the speaker housing).

Hopefully, that will allow me to bring the box all the way out to the side walls of the cab. That way, I can mount the amp in the middle. I will also need to cut the carpet somewhere to get rid of that hump, so the bottom of the box can come out farther, cause the sub will need to go as low to the floor as it can, cause its mounting depth is almost too deep to fit.

For a sealed box, it recommends .66-1.00, and the box I made will give it about .7 minus the 4 braces in it, so it will end up to be around .66.....when I get more money, i'll get another L5 and put it in the other box I made.

I was thinking about doing it like yours, but I didn't see how I could get a solo baric 10 back there like that. They are about 6 1/4" deep. The boxes I made will go all the way over to the side walls.

What is the volume of your box?
