Titanium Dioxide

I'm researching Titanium-Dioxide cleaners, basically sprays to use on my ranger. Seems it's the best cleaner you could get, since it is self cleaning.
It dissolves dirt, grime, pollutions, bacteria, etc.. when in contact with the UV spectrum of the sun. Afterwards you can clean it off easily.
Here's some self-cleaning windows that are using the technology, and I've read that the Roman Church is using it on monuments, as well as some European cities.

I'm wanting some to keep my truck clean :)

That's part of my research, to see how expensive it would be, if it lasts, then it could pay for itself in eliminating the costs of other cleaning solutions over X+ years.

I don't think you are going to find any cleaners with the technology used on windows. This is a special process that deposits a permanent extremely thin film of titanium oxide on the surface.

Titanium oxide is typically a white powder that is used as a white pigment in paint and other applications that are white. It is not that expensive. If you put something like that in a cleaner it would be white and would probably leave a white residue. You would have to buff it off and you would no longer have the protection you are looking for.

I don't know if anyone has developed a method to deposit the permanent thin film technology on paint that is used on glass. If they have I imagine it would be very expensive.

Sunclean PDF
Seems someone hasn't been doing their research.
I originally heard (read) of Titanium-dioxide chemical in Popular Science, in the article, they specifically mentioned SunClean as being a product of the adding Ti2 to Windows.

It seems someone is not reading what I said.

I did not say there was no process to coat windows with Ti02, I said I didn't think you would find any cleaners with the technology used on windows. The durable process they use on glass is a chemical vapor deposition process in which the TiO2 is fused to the glass at a high temperature. That does not come in a bottle of cleaner.

You might find a cleaner that claims to have TiO2 but it will not be durable like the fused TiO2.

SunClean is not a cleaner, it is trademark of PPG for their glass that has TiO2 fused to the surface.
