Post Sticky Request: Howto Clean rubber floor

There are enuff threads about this, yall should make this a sticky!

Cleaning your dirty rubber floor:

Stuff needed:

Shop wet n dry vac
Towel
Any mild soap
stiff scrub brush
hose
before and after pics

Step 1: Vacuume up the loose dirt and grit.

Step2: I use a hose, you can use a bucket... dont matter... hose the area down, the idea here is to get it wet, not drench it. the water will puddle torwards the middle of the 'foot area'

Step 3: Using a variety of cleaners, I found dish soap, and a cap full of Armor All to work best. splash like a teaspoon of armorall directly into the puddle. then add some soap... doesnt matter really what you use.

Step 4: with your stiff bristle brush, scrub it all. be thorough

Step 5: Vacuume up the area, all the dirty water

Step 6: use a towel to get up the excess.

Step 7 (optional): hit the thruway with windows down to further air out.

Step 8: step back admire the new looking floor.

This method works best for me. you can use just about any cleaner, and itll work, after all, its a rubber floor so dirt doesnt really stick to it too much.

Dont add too much armorall since itll make the floor UBER slippery, and thats bad.
