Hurst Shifter?

Hi, is the Hurst Shifter really worth buying to upgrade from the Stock Shifter? I'm debating wether or not buy it , I've got a 05 2.3L 4cyl. Ranger XLT.

it's pretty easy if you don't have a body lift. With a BL the whole unit is under the floor and makes it a little difficult. You need to have some allen wrenches to install it.

The best tip- MAKE SURE IT IS IN NEUTRAL BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE STOCK SHIFTER.

with an 88 make sure you have the correct transmisson. the hurst that they have for the rangers works with the M5OD, but with an 88 there is a very good chance that you have an FM146... so take a look under the truck and be sure of what transmission you have before you spend the 200 bucks on a part you may not be able to use.
