whats goin on guys. i've been talking about this for a while, and with income tax season coming around, i might be able to do it. on my 02 f150 5.4 i'd like to convert to manual trans. i know the 6 speed manual from a superduty with a 5.4 will bolt up, and i will need all the linkages and master/slave cylinder, and all that good stuff. what i'm wondering is will my pcm still be looking for an auto trans? what repercussions am I looking at with doing this? and does anyone have links or something to an f150 trans swap somewhere? thanks a lot.

 

Maybe try a f150 forum? Not being a *** but they might know more than us about it.

 

yea, i've found a VERY few threads on it, but it doesn't seem like anyone knows what they're talking about. i figured it was a long shot, but we got some very intelligent people that know their **** on here. and im just throwing the idea around right now. i'd love to do it, but idk if its worth it.
