dana 35 gears question.

alright while i have the front diff apart im gonna replace the gears, now i know that im gonna need to run 4:56's but what do i look for? im looking at jegs for gears cuz its cheaper then going through my dealer. so can anyone tell me what i need to look for? part number if anyone can or links. thanks..!

you need reverse cut gears

does anyone know of a place that sells gears for the d35? and hwo do i go about completly locking the front? i will have manual hubs so it wont be a problem on the street.

any locker for a rear jeep Dana 35 will work for your front... the gears will NOT tho

i hate to say it, but call 4 Wheel Parts....i got my front and rear gears with a master install kit for both ends for $379 shipped....

ok.. is it the 97 and older trucks u need reverse cut gears and newer u need normal cut? bc i can almost swear i saw "Reverse" on the front diff case

yea that was for the front gears & Master install kit, and the rear gears & Master install kit......they were Genuine Gear brand.....

jeeze you got it good down south! as soon as i heard 350 for the front gear only i nearly had a heart attack.

tried ring and pinion.com and they dont have anything for D35

yea that is a really HIGH price just for the front.....even from Summit you can get both ends for around $400 shipped

ill check into that.

well looks like im gonna have to call summit cause they dont show anything on their site.
