i get a loud roaming noise over 42 mph. coming from underneath truck.

When coasting to stops, it is loud until i get down to about 30mph.

Yup sounds like a wheel bearing or cupped tire. I had a tire on my car that was cupped and swore it was a wheel bearing at first.

jack up the front of your truck and see if your tire has any play in it. mine were so bad that if i would of driven it. the tire could of come off. if its a wheel bearing STOP driving the truck till you get it fixed.

If you are positive it's coming from the rear your tires shouldn't have any play. Jack the truck up and grab the wheel at 3 and 9 and then 6 and 12. If the rear wheel moves inwards towards the truck and outwards toward you do not attempt to drive on it.

For the fronts' If you grab the wheel at 3 and 9 then it is most llikely a tie rod if it doesn't move at 6 and 12. If it moves at 6 and 12 and you are a 2wd then it's almost always a wheel bearing. I'm pretty sure I have that right.

i am starting to believe it is coming from the front of the truck now.
As soon as i let off the gas while at any speed, it is a loud humming noise and when braking, vibration of dash and brake pedal.

i will jack truck up tomorrow and check for loose wheels.
