Drive shaft length

I tried searching for it maybe not hard enough but it's kinda hard on a phone. I was wondering if someone with a 4wd 97 ranger has a measurement or could measure the length of their stock front drive shaft.

I can do it on a 99, but it'll probably be a bit different. Let me know if you want it anyway.

Cardone lists 29-7/16" for 4.0L trucks and 30-3/4" for non-4.0L.

I have no idea where they measure that though... whether it's compressed or extended.
