Well I would call bull**** on this because I went from 28's to 33's with 3.73 gears and my truck was even more of a turd then it already was. So maybe you just don't want to notice a difference. Try to go up a hill that you would normally do in third gear and try that in third again. I bet you won't make it. And start at the same speed you normally would.

I'll completely disagree. I went to 33's with my stock 3.73's, with the 4.0 and auto tranny. I didn't notice the big difference until I went back to stock. Then I realized just how much the big tires dogged the truck. Take offs from stoplights are easier on the engine/tranny, accelerating on the highway doesn't take forever to drop gears anymore, and the gas mileage was the BIG difference. I averaged ~14mpg with the 3.73's and 33's. Back to stock I've been getting ~20mpg. The problem was I had to have a heavier foot with the big tires to get moving "like stock", using more gas. I wasted more than the $500 in poor gas mileage than it would cost to get regeared during the year I had the lift and tires.
