Swaping 2 link drivetrain to a soild one..

I have a 96 ranger extra cab and my center bearing is out on my drive shaft which caused my driveshaft to go bad.. should i just get a solid one or jusy get the same two piece driveshaft

Thanks

IIRC you can go to a one piece ,however the crossmember has to be cut due to the driveline angle.
