Front Diff

Does the front diff have to come down to change the fluid? It doesn't look like there is enough room between the crossmember and the diff cover to get the bolts out. Or am I not getting something?

There's a drain plug.

I can't remember if its on the bottom or the diff or on the passenger side. But it is there.

The factory shop manual says to use an oil suction gun to remove the fluid through the fill hole.
