A vibration when making a sharp turn

Recently I have noticed a slight shudder / vibration which feels like it is coming from the rear end when I make a sharp left or right turn. Really noticable when waiting for traffic and then gassing it a bit to make the turn. Never happens when going straight, only turning.

I be thinking I have issues with the planetary gears in the differential, which is a general diagnosis because I only know enough to be dangerous.

The rear end is not noisy going down the road and no other vibrations are present other then the one I described.

Anyone experience this and have any input it would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone?

Well, at any rate a friend asked me if I had added an additive when I changed the oil in the rear end last year and my answer was no. I used Amsoil synthetic and was told it was not needed. Well, turns out, that is only partially true. Some diffs will play nice without the additive and some will not. Apparently mime is one of those that will not. So I will pick up a 4oz bottle of Amsoil slip lock diff additive and give it a try.

Thanx and cheers!
