I swapped the 5 speed out of my 2003 XLT 4x4 4.0L. The truck had 99k on it when I did the switch. There were no issuses with the transmission and the only reason I did the swap was so that my fiancee could use the truck in the snow. To answer the obvious question... Yes I tried to teach her to drive manual and I decided swapping the transmissions was the easier of the two options. I have all of the necessary parts to complete the swap. Transmission, ECU (will have to be reprogramed by a dealership. Cost me $99.) Engine/transmission wiring harness, radiator, starter, flywheel, slave cylinder, Clutch/Brake pedals, shifter/boot, center console, steering colum cover, clutch and PRNDL delete.
