Door repiar....
My door was badly dented a few months ago and no one left their information so I was left with the bill.
I went to a local place that does good work and got a quote of $782. I decided that I was going to file and insurance claim so it would only cost me $500.
I have the money saved up and then I got this idea.... I was thinking of going to a junkyard and getting a door off a Ranger of either the same color or getting one and having it painted.
My question for you guys is, is this a good idea. As far as price goes what can I expect to pay for a door at with no power options at a junkyard. Then if I need it painted what can I expect to pay for a good paint job on a door.
I am thinking $150 +/- for the door and the $200 +/- for the paint job if needed.
I would appreicate your input on prices etc...

Do you have any trouble opening the door? Cause if you don't there's a way you can pull out the dent. It's Called the Ding King. Alot of major body shops use it to remove dents and dings. You can get it at just about anywhere and it aint very expensive either. 10 to 15 minutes and that dent can be gone. If you do have any trouble opening the door it's best to take it to a shop and let them do the work. I used the Ding King system on my truck and my mom's car. It took me 25 nimutes for both vehicles and now they're good as new. Look into that because that can save you a ton of money later on down the road. As far as the front bumper goes you're more than likely have to replace it. www.lmctruck.com click on the Ranger link and you'll find everything you need at a reasonable price.
