changing the blinker bulb
Hey,
I've got a '96 with the three bulb tail lights and i picked up a set of 06 tails from the scrappers with the two bulbs. I've seen some write-ups of re-wiring or drilling out the third location for the bulb.
I like the idea of just drilling out the hole for the bulb, but I'd like to change it to a smaller bulb and socket so that it can sit a bit more snugly in the hole for the socket, as it is curved rather than flat.
Has anyone changed the 3156 bulb that is there to something that is smaller in size but still produces the same brightness. Something slightly less bright is okay with me, but I want to be sure that the signal is noticeable in daylight, and nighttime. Another crucial thing, is avoiding the 'fast blinker' puse rate.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
