It's in your owners manual. Trevelyn has a sticky for the online version. By blue, you mean silverstar polarized bulbs? Most states(if not all) blue lights are illegal unless you have a special reason(volunteer firefighter).

well i looked in my manual and i found two numbers -- 3457 and 194 and then i googled for the bulbs and found them but none in either of those two sizes. so i'm confused. are those the wrong sizes or did i just look in the wrong direction? if you know, can you please direct me to where i need to order these bulbs? thanks man

3457 is the blinker inside the headlight housing. 194 is the corner light, it doesn't blink unless you've done the blinker mod.

http://www.autolumination.com/

Use that site, scroll down and it has a cross reference chart that shows what bulbs will work for what. Both 3457 and 194 are on there.

and for anyone that is familiar with the Silverstars:

In CA your front blinkers must be either Amber or white. So keep that in mind while shopping.

hey travis i just noticed that you did the blinker mod on your truck.. was it hard? i think it's ridiculous that the blinker isn't more visible for people to see from the side so i was thinkin about doing it (depending on the difficulty).

And by the way, you can use a 3157 in place of the 3457. :)

^^^lol, i did. and right as i was torque'in the bolts it started to rain. when i got something in my head, i just have to do it then and there or odds are likely that it'll never get done.

i read the blinker mod thread and just had to do it, then and there. i'm like the post man. rain nor snow will stop me from modding....

haha well i'm definitely lookin to do the blinker mod. i'm gonna wait till i get my clear corners (they're in the mail) so it will just be a one-stop job. i think i'm gonna pick up some blue blinker bulbs as well and throw those suckers in when i install my clear corners and do the mod.

Be careful and check your state laws... I was pulled over on new years for having blue corner lights. A little thing known as "impersonating an emergency vehicle". Any blue, green or red "flashing" lights are illegal (at least they are in GA). Even turn signals because they blink...

I only got a warning, but the trooper said it could have been a $250 fine, he said some places the fine is like $1,000...
