Does having the center section of the headlight affect the light output? I was thinking of doing the same when I do mine.

I am also scared of doing this on my only set of lights and with under 1000 miles on the truck. But........ After seing so many people doing this I think I am going to give it a shot.

Ditch the Stock corners(get some '06's or clears and do the mod). Looks good.

Throw some sylvinia blinker bulbs in place of your orange ones they are a blue purple tint but still blink orange, it would set it off even more but I do like what you have done

They would look good with the headlight mod.

hey guys! ya i gave my truck a "pupil" to set it off from others lights done on here..also taped off the ridges... but tell ya the truth...i didnt notice any less visibility with painting them black...also some FYI for u guys wanting to do it...i put mine in the over for 15 minutes at 200....took them out and broken the glue off the corners then put them back in for an additional 15 minutes...one headlight came off real good but the passenger side had some excessive gluing done on it so i believe i had to bake that one 3 or possibly 4 times to get it removed...but JUST BE GENTAL! IF IT DONT MOVE bake it longer!
