actually the white one looks like *** lol, its all runny and the lines are uneven
i plan to take the ones on my truck tomarrow and paint them blue and maybe get all that pinstripe adhesive off, then my truck will be looking CLEAN, oh and pull a leaf out too, wont that be fun

WOW Alan....that is REALLLLLLY cool what you did to the Ford emblem! Did the outside of the clear piece get damaged at all from the 'bath'? Or is it just as though it was brand spankin' new?

The one blue oval emblem I fubarred using a torch, I played with removing the chrome. Looks like someone beat me to finishing the idea. DAmnit. lol.

 

nope, it spent atleast 10 hours in an acetone bath and came out looking brand new!
it took some serious time to get all that chrome out tho

 

well i put my ford emblem on and its ****!




as for the ranger logo's... well im stuck trying to decide on the blue or white.

you think something looks good in your hand, untill you put it up against the truck. the white flows so much better since i took my pins off but that white emblem is painted pretty ****ily. and the blue seems almost too dark to make any difference from the black, but thats in my garage not out in direct sunlight

 

Get new emblems and start over and use what you learned while making the first ones.

Or...I think all white woulf look pretty good.

 

i dont need new emblems, those ones i painted were spares, i just took the stock ones off earlier

 

I'd rock it.

 

You should get one of the giant Ford logos off an 06+, do it blue/white like above and rock that.

I thought the blue would've looked better than the white at first when they were off the truck.

But seeing them on the truck, I think I like the white outline better. Anybody agree?

those pics are decieving, their taken under one dim *** flourescent light, i still am not sure about those emblems, i may repaint them with better paint im gonna buy tomarrow.
