KC Slim lites
Hey All,
I'm looking to get some KC slim lites for my ranger to mount behind the grill. i have a billet grill and am trying to decide between the driving version and the long range version of the lights. My question would be do the 130w long range lights put out to much heat for right behind the grill? The long range ones are what I want but of they are going to be to hot then I will just go with the driving lights which are only 100w lights.
thanks for info,
Dave

No matter the lense, the amount of heat will be the same depending on the wattage of the bulb. I've got 2 long range and 2 driving and both are 130w titanium slimlites.
I'd get long range.
You've got a billet grille so you have nothing to really worry about in the melting/heat department. That really only applies to guys that still have their stock plastic grille.
