a while back i made some diamond palte door sills for my truck. pretty cheap for the metal at $10 for a small sheet. just thought id share.

is it steel or aluminum? thickness?

I made my old skidplate out of 3/16 aluminum diamond plate, a sheet of 4x6 i think it was, was 150 bucks from my friends discounted employee price...

its polished aluminum. i forgot the thickness...i think it was around 1/8in thick. my dad bought big sheets at a shop to put on a friends trailer and they had little scrap pieces on sale. i had to measure and cut em out.

 

diamond plate is expensive...

i got like 2 sheets well there like just small enough to fit in a stepside truck..so about 4' x 6'..i got from local shop i got the hook up..they got defects on them but its not on the whole piece....if u guys want give me the measurements that u need..ill make em for like 5 bucks and ship em to yah..
