Whats wrong with the stock plates??? i bought a t-case plate from ford and havent had a problem with it, and ive hit it HARD even held the whole weight of the truck on it. But then again i did drill larger holes and put grade 8 zinc coated bolts in.

 

theyre still pretty thin. reason i dont like em is cuz they hang low enough that for everytime i go muddin, all they do is KEEP the mud and dont do much else.

super beefy ones are custom made to fit better and if you SMASH em against a BOULDER, they're all good lol

btw anyone know the delio with factory gas tank skids? why are they soooo bad? i mean come on....even before i was lifted just a tad, it still scraped it...wtf.

 

Mine's had its share of abuse, but everytime i took it off i had to run it over to flatten it out enough to get the holes to line up

that and now from the side it doesnt look like I__I or \__/ like its supposed to, its more like /__/ lol

what have you heard bad about them? when i stuff my driver rear tire the drive shaft rubs on the skid making a horrible noise, but no other issues?

 

just the rubbing is whatt im talkin about. its just kinda annoying....
