4" or 6" with 35's?

Hey all, well finally got the truck back from the shop!!!!!! Was soo tired of driving the stupid mazda 3. So i had a shop quote me 1300 for a 4" Rough Country lift, and 1400 for the 6". they want 600 for install, which i dont think is TOoo bad.

anyone know anything about the RCX lifts? i know the 4" just came out recently, so not alot of people running it. But my main concern with the 6" is that alot of trucks i see with the 6"/35 combo, well the truck looks too high in the front. im not going to go with anything bigger than a 35" tire, this is still my dd.

Let me know!

The 4" Rancho normally yields about 5" of lift.
I still think I may go with a 4.5" lift on mine some day, but if you think might ever look at yours and wish you had more lift, just go with 6".
For me, I think my truck would do most of what I would want as it sits with 35s and locker, but I want a 4.5" lift to put my front suspension angles back where they should be to get a better ride off road. I could care less if the truck next to mine is taller or bigger or whatever, but that's me.

same here brian. id settle for just enough lift to make it look like 35s werent stuffed. these trucks set fairly high as it is and its not like im gonna wheel the damn thing.

well i LOVE the look of beards truck. and i could care less if the guy next to me is taller haha. I know half the guys around here have HUGE lifts on their trucks with little *** tires, so they all look stewpid anyways

Go big. I say if the 6 inch is only an extra 100, go with it. I think you will be happier in the end.

From my experience on the Bronco forum, all the guys with 4 inch lifts wish they had gone with a 6 inch from the beginning. When I lift my Bronco higher, i'm going with a 6 inch.
