09 ranger 4.0 performance

like the title says i have an 09 ranger 4.0L 4x4 recently I've been noticing the rangers performance to be decreasing. what i mean by this is it doesn't seem to have it usual pep to it. my truck just hit 70'000 km. i have only done oil changes to it and nothing else. my first thoughts were the MAF sensor or the fuel filter but i thought I'd bring the questions to you guys. so what do you think. also my warranty expired so I'm also looking for any cheap methods to get some more horsepower out of it.

i would recommend the 30k service interval at your local dealer. unless you are mechanically inclined

change oil and filter $20
change air filter $20 for a replacemnt $55 for a K&N recommended
change fuel filter $15
replace PCV $5
change spark plugs $15
inspect tires
inspect all fluids
inspect brakes and rear linings
inspect suspension components

the service at my dealer is $535

Sounds like your due for a tune up. Check out the How to section, it might be able to help you out a ton and save you some money. if not. i'll be glad to tell you how to do it, or anyone else can offer advice too you.
