had a jet chip, liked it. got the x cal 2, loved it. the chip is a waste compared to the tuner.

Well you have to return the truck to stock programming and then reprogram the unit for the new truck.

I think its programmed to your VIN number so it can only be used on 1 truck.

just your 4 digit pcm code under the hood, I love mine its great and you can do alot with it, holds three tunes and the stock tune incase you need work to be done on the truck. Like everyone else is saying you can not use it on another vehicle without it being reprogramed, its just a security thing.

You can tune multiple trucks but they will have to have the same PCM codes and tuned only once at a time. This isn't something you can show up at a meet and start tuning everyone's truck.

I use http://www.fordchip.com to tune my cars but there are many out there that can do it. Don't waste your time on Jet chips, SCT is the only way to go.
